hi, and welcome to my livejournal.

i'd been thinking about doing this for a while - most notably, because i've also been thinking about setting up my webpage from scratch and marrying that with this sort of journal.

mostly, this particular journal was spawned by a few things - brophey wolf was one of the folks who got me thinking about setting one up. a posting in a mailing list i'm on sort of prompted me towards setting up a journal, and then, of course, there's my webpage. which was falling into total disrepair and wanted something like this to come along.

you'll [undoubtedly] find out more about me as i post, but i will just mention here that i'm a small, furry, bearded person who now has his national diploma in computer science and is hoping to start on the bachelor/masters/doctorate program.

i'm back at school. this year, i do my bachelor of computer science. i'm hoping to get it to go down an operating system/graphical user interface path and that i can carry that into my master's/doctorate. ah well. only time will tell how this will end up.
